Teenager P4 Would Like to Meat

Teenager P4 Would Like to Meat

Sometimes people arrive in the middle of the night and just look hungry. Of course, this isn’t Quillian’s room and the host seems to be a bit indisposed — or disposed all over the floor.

Uck! It’s a good job this comic is line art rather than full colour πŸ™‚

Given the size of that thing, Quillian’s going to need some help to capture and dispose of it before it disposes of her…

Is that Ridley from the Metroid games?

    • Joyce says:

A coincidental resemblance, I told Daniel to draw a monster that was a cross between a man, a pterodactyl and a parrot. πŸ™‚

Totally podcastable… I’m cheap (at least I’m not easy, too!)

      • Joyce says:

I checked with Daniel and he confirmed, that yes, he was thinking of Ridley when he designed Ptarro. πŸ™‚ He’s much different in detail but a fierce humanoid pterodactyl is a fierce humanoid pterodactyl. πŸ™‚

Ridley has a vulture neck, Ptarro has a human neck. Ridley has teeth in his beak while Ptarro really does have a sort of parrot beak. I’ve never seen anyone draw wings like Ptarro’s, look at them closely and note the muscle and bone structure. Ptarro has monster horse-chicken-ostrich feet while Ridley has mutant eagle-bear-cow feet. Ptarro has only three fingers, Ridley has three fingers and a thumb.

Neither have visible pupils but Ptarro has a row of false eyes to confuse things. Ridley’s tail is knotted with a spade tip, like a devil’s. Ptarro’s tail is smooth with a thing on the end like a shovel turned into a can opener. πŸ™‚ Ptarro’s chest is muscular, Ridley’s is skeletal.

Ridley is scary but funny, Ptarro is frightening but cute. πŸ™‚

Love the new page! Keep em Coming! and yes… Counting the student would be quite messy… and Difficult… I mean… Do multiple pieces count as 1 or as multiple?

  4. Terry says:

I love the page. The small intestine draped over the creatures thigh is a nice touch. Qullian’s raised eyebrow is perfect.

    Thanks!

  5. Terry says:

Hey! I love the avatar that this site gave me. Can I keep it? I hope it stays. It’s cute. πŸ™‚

    • Joyce says:

The avatars are figured out by an algorithm based on your email address. So as long as you use the same email addy, it will stay the same. πŸ™‚
